Day 1: Medan – Bukit Lawang

• Pick-up from Medan (hotel or airport)

• Scenic drive to Bukit Lawang (4–5 hours)

• Check-in at riverside eco-lodge

• Free time: relax by the river or explore the village

• Overnight in Bukit Lawang

Day 2: Orangutan Trekking – Transfer to Tangkahan

• Jungle trek in Gunung Leuser National Park (2–4 hours)

  • Chance to see orangutans, gibbons, hornbills, and more

• Optional tube rafting back to lodge

• Lunch, then transfer to Tangkahan (2.5–3 hours) via bumpy jungle road

• Check-in at lodge in Tangkahan (by the river)

• Free time to relax at the hot springs or riverside

• Overnight in Tangkahan

Day 3: Tangkahan Elephant & Nature Experience – Return to Medan

• Cross the river by traditional bamboo raft

• Visit the Elephant Sanctuary

  • Feed & observe elephants (no riding)

  • Learn about their conservation

• Optional: jungle walk, visit to hidden waterfall, or swim in the clear river

• Return drive to Medan (5–6 hours)

• Drop-off at airport or hotel
